Bowls Hawarden Women’s Club Opening Day
Visitors from town and country were welcomed by the president of the Hawarden Women’s Bowling Club, Mrs E. Guthrie; at the club’s opening day last Thursday. The first kitty was thrown by the vice-president of the men’s club, Mr Fraser. Mr E. Guthrie, husband of the president, put up the first bowl.
