Petrol Price Drop In Australia

Press Association—Copyright) MELBOURNE, September 30 The prices of both standard and premium grades of petrol will drop by a Jd a gallon in all Australian States tomorrow, it was announced in Melbourne today The announcement was made by the Australian Oil Industry Prices Commission and the Vacuum Oil Company, which is independent of the commission.
The announcement came several hours after an announcement by the Prices Commissioners in Queensland and South Australia, where petrol prices are Govern-ment-controlled. that prices of both grades of petrol would drop in those States by a id a gallon this week-end.
