Drainage Board Contracts
A tender of £40,129 has been accepted by the Christchurch Drainage Board for the Dallington sewer reticulation, section 4 <tiie Windsor area), and another of £9950 for the Wigram drain extension.
Details of the tenders were announced yesterday by the board as follows:—Dallington: J. C. Haworth, £40.129; A. Edmond and Son, Ltd., £47.723: Canterbury Pipe Lines, Ltd., £49.462. Wigram drain: Moore Construction (Christchurch), Ltd., £9950; J. P. Matthews, £10,659; Waddell Construction. Ltd., £10,700; Canterbury Pipe Lines, Ltd., £12,690; G. T. Browne, £15,430.
