Four Horses To Leave Today "The Press” Special Service DUNEDIN, August 2. The Wingatui trainers D. P. Wilson and W. J. Hewitt, will leave tomorrow morning for Riccarton. The Wilson team will consist of the Winter Cup candidate. Irrepressible, and Blooming, a form runner in the Avonhead Hack Handicap. Both horses will be ridden* by the stable apprentice, J. R. Dowling. Irrepressible showed a return to her best form when she beat Shangri-La and the Riverton Cup winner, Matlock, over seven furlongs in the Winter Handicap at the Dunedin meeting in June. In her only other start since then she was an unlucky second to Keep Time over a mile at Ashburton in the same month. Blooming was an impressive winner of the Fairfax Handicap, a seven-furlong event for apprentice riders at Riverton at Easter. She was a fast-finishing third over a mile at Washdyke last month at her last start. Lord Fane and Gay Mood, which is raced by his trainer, will form Hewitt’s team. Lord Fane, which was second at Waimate at his last start, will be ridden by the stable apprentice. C. Campbell, in the Paparua Handicap. Gay Mood will be ridden by B. J. Anderton in the Jumpers’ Flat.
