Boxing SECOND ROUND K.O. WIN
Scanlan Beats Fijian (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 1. Tuna Scanlan, the New Zealand middle-weight champion, knocked out Johnny Wainile. of Fiji, in the second round of their professional boxing contest at the Y.M.C.A. tonighjt. Scanlan knocked down Wainile for a compulsory eight count in the first round, and then in the middle of the second hit the Fijian with a tremendous left uppercut to clinch the victory.
