FRUIT RESEARCH IN NELSON
Entomology Station Supported Fruitgrowers in Waimea and Motueka want the Government to retain the entomology station in Nelson Remits to this effect will be discussed by the New Zealand Fruitgrowers’ Federation, Ltd., at its forty-fourth annual conference in September. According to the Motueka remit, the discovery of improved methods of scale control in the Nelson and Marlborough fruit areas is of considerable economic importance to the New Zealand fruitgrowing industry. More representations should be made to the Government to retain the entomology station in Nelson, says the remit
