Demonstrations in several Latin-American capitals were set off yesterday by the Cuban Prime Minister, Dr. Fidel Castro’s revolutionary July 26 holiday. In Caracas, Venezuela, police used tear-gas bombs yesterday to rout several thousand Castro sympathisers besieging an estimated 250 anti-Castro Venezuelans who had sought refuge in the Caracas Cathedral In La Paz, Bolivia, Leftist students burned two American flags and a figure representing Unde Sam.
