THE 1960 OTAKI SCHOLAR AT ST. ANDREW’S COLLEGE.—Grant Allan, of Robert Gordon’s College, Aberdeen, meeting prefects of St. Andrew’s College yesterday. He is the seventeenth winner of the Otaki Scholarship, which is awarded annually to a pupil of Robert Gordon’s College in memory of a former pupil of the college, Lieutenant’ Archibald BissettSmith, who was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross in 1917 after his command, the freighter Otaki, was sunk in action with a German raider.
