NEW BUILDING FOR A.A.C.
Flat Planned On Roof A penthouse flat seven floors above Latimer square is planned for the roof of the Automobile Association Canterbury building now being constructed at the south end of the square on Hereford street This was announced at last evening’s meeting of the A.A.C. council. The association’s special committee for the new building was authorised to proceed with the erection of the flat on the roof of the proposed six-storey building. “It is contemplated that sometime in the future this flat will be used either by a permanent caretaker or an after-hours service officer,” the secretary (Mr E. S. Palliser) said.
