BEQUESTS, GIFTS OF £3844
Methodist Central Mission
Bequests and gifts amounting to £3BB 9s 5d were received by the Christchurch Methodist Central Mission in the last year. This was reported at the annual meeting of the board of management of the Mission last evening. These were:— Estate of H. Parker £1447 13s; estate of O. E. Cresswell £160; estate K. Elliott £350; estate Mrs Kirk £100; estate R. J. O. Goodwin £376 16s sd; Arnold Williams and Heathcote Beal Memorial Trust £200; Sargood Trust £100: Rotorua Unclaimed Maori Trusts £250; Maori Purposes Trust Fund Board £500; McKenzie Trust £110; anonymous gift £250. Addition to Rehua.—A laundry, store for groceries, a vegetable store and a storeroom for suitcases is to be built on the grounds of the Rehua meeting house in Springfield road. This was decided at the annual meeting of the board of management of the Christchurch Methodist Central Mission. The buildings will cost £2200.
