(Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, July 28. “The Etonians have never had it so good.” the> “Daily Mirror" said today. The newspaper—under the headline “Jolly Old Pals Cabinet ... Headmaster Macmillan Hands Out The Prizes” —broke down the British Cabinet changes this way. “Mr Macmillan (an old Etonian) announced that: “The Earl of Home (an old Etonian) is Foreign Secretary. “Mr Duncan Sandys (an old Etonian) is Commonwealth Secretary “Mr Peter Thorneycroft (an old Etonian) is Aviation Minister. “Mr Christopher Sbames (an old Etonian) is Minister of Agriculture. “Viscount Hailsham (an old Etonian) is also handed a prize. He is now Minister of Science, and Lord President of the Council and Tory leader in the House of Lords. “Mr Heathcoat Amory (an old Etonian) vanishes from the scene—to his 13-ton boat and a viscountcy.”
