(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 27. A new political party, the Liberal Party, held a public meeting tonight in Takapuna. The party chairman (Mr C. Bayward) said they aimed to put 80 candidates in the field and become the Government at the 1963 elections. At this election one candidate would stand and they would make sure he got in.
