Friesian Association Elects Officers

Officers elected at the annual meeting of the Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Friesian Association were as follows: President. Mr R. G. Mclntosh (Prebbleton); senior vice-presi-dent, Mr W. C. Mason Okains Bay), B. Barclay (Halswell), R. G. Humm (Tai Tapu), and W. Fiecken (Tad Tapu). The Canterbury branch, with more than 170 members, is the largest branch of the association in the country. Reference was made at the meeting to the recent golden jubilee celebrations of the association at Hamilton, which were attended by more than 300 persons, including a party of 22 from Australia, and to the Royal Show being held this year in Christchurch.
