NAVY EXERCISE IN SEPTEMBER
Submarine Detection
The underwater detection of submarines will be studied by 15 naval reservists from H.M.N.Z.S. Pegasus, Christchurch, at Auckland in September. Two courses carried out in conjunction with the Royal Navy destroyers, Cavendish and Carysfort, and a British submarine will last from September 19 to September 24 and from September 26 to September 29. The exercise will be held in the Hauraki Gulf.
