ZINC CORP. DISPUTE WITH UNION
tN-Z. Press Association—Copyrtght) SYDNEY, July 22. Negotiations have been taking place in the industrial dispute between the Zinc Corporation. Ltd., and the miners' union. The dispute arose when Consolidated Zinc inaugurated an extended training courses, including training for new employees in a wider range of employee functions. Work stopped on July 12. The union objected on the grounds that training in various functions should be given by instructors drawn from their own ranks. Consolidated Zinc now advises that they have referred the dispute to the Industrial Commission of New South Wales for solution. Pioneer Sugar Mills.-Pioneer Sugar Milla. Ltd.
