The Totalisator Agency Board handled a total of £307,932 10s on Saturday’s three race meetings, compared with £263,036 on the corresponding day last year. Saturday’s figure was made up of £129,392 in win and place betting and £178,540 10s on doubles. Details: — MARAMARUA On-course: £48,416 10s, up £ Off-course: £113,337 ss, up £10,877. MANAWATU On-course: £54,111 10s, up £1995 10s. Off-course: £132,539 10s, up £25,465 15s. SOUTH CANTERBURY On-course: £29,964, up £5897 Off-course: £62,055 15s, up £8553 15 s. Off-Course Substitutes Off-course substitutes were: Maramarua: Atelia. Manawatu: Awol. South Canterbury: Royal Order.
