Commonwealth Medal For Journalism
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, July 20. The Royal Society of Arts is to present a ' silver medal and diploma to a Commonwealth journalist outside Britain, “The Times" reported. The award will be made to the journalist who, during the last three years, has made a distinguished contribution to the highest standards of the profession by the quality, accuracy, and objectivity of his work and by his example; and by promoting among his own people a closer understanding and appreciation of the problems and achievements of his country and the Commonwealth as a whole.
