Mairehau League of Mothers.— Fur capes, coats and stoles were modelled by members of the Mairehau / League of Mothers to demonstrate a talk on types of furs by Mr G. S. Grounds, at the seventh birthday -meeting of the branch. The drama circle produced a humorous sketch. The cake was cut by the provincial president (Mrs W. Harvey). Mrs
Home Economic Association. — Calypsos and negro Spirituals were presented by the Christchurch North Townswomen's Guild at a recent meeting of the Home Economics Association. The guild's drama circle presented two humorous sketches. Mrs L. V. Gain presided.
