SYMES, Ethel—On July 21, 1960, at her residence, Milnes road, Halswell, dearly loved wife of Percy Symes, and loved mother of Frank and Margaret, mother-in-law of Nyra, and loved grandma of Lynnette. Northbridge, Sydney, dearly loved wife of the late Guy Campbell Tully, and loved mother of Barbara. (Suddenly.) Privately interred in Sydney. WHITE, Leonard James, of Kaiapoi—On July 22, 1960, at Christchurch Hospital, dearly loved husband of the late Mary Agnes White, late of Wilsons Siding, and loved father of Doris (Mrs Bert Robb); in his 66th year. (Late Ist N.Z.E.F.) The Funeral will leave Fisher and Company’s Chapel, Main road, Kaiapoi, This Day (Saturday), after a Service commencing at 11 a.m., for the Woodend Church of England Cemetery. WILLIAMS, Ellen Louisa, of 12 Ely street—On July 21, 1960, at her son’s residence, 50 Skipton street, Shirley, beloved wife of the late Percy Williams, and loved mother of Myrtle (Mrs McDonald, of Waipu, North Auckland) and Joe Vale, and George and Frank; in her 86th year. At rest. (Messages to 50 Skipton street.) The Funeral will leave our Chapel, 292 Cashel street, on Monday, after a service commencing at 10.45 a;m., for the Bromley Cemetery.
