The salary is £2200 rising to £2300 after one year’s service. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out all medical and surgical work at the Rawene Hospital, and his average hours of work at the Hospital shall be not less than 20 hours per week. He shall also be responsible through the Special Area Medical Officers for providing ordinary medical attendance on all persons for the time being resident in the Hokianga district. He shall also be responsible for the control and direction of the medical clinics in the Rawene Hospital district, and for all "Non-Health Department” work of the district nurses working in the Hokianga Special Area. Nominations must indicate the district within which the nominee resides and in respect of which he is nominated.
