Car Still Not Traced
SYDNEY, July 22. Police still have no definite lead in their search for eight-year-old Graeme Thorne who was kidnapped 16 days ago on the way to school from his home in suburban Bondi. A ransom of £25,000 has been demanded: - Four detectives are working 24 hours a day, but the chief of the C. 1.8., Superintendent R. Walden, Said today they had ho definite lead. .
He said routine inquiries were being made in Brisbane about a man who flew there from Sydney on Tuesday night A car travelling in the Northern Territory has still not been traced, but Sydney police do not think the boy reported to be in it is Graeme Thorne.
