Sir,—The so-called “boxing match” in the Wellington Town Hall must have been a vile and degrading affair. If our parliamentarians could get their minds on things a little nearer home and pass legislation to prevent the making of money from such revolting spectacles, they would be thought more highly of than they are at present—Yours, etc., WH.T.
