A Rumanian painter, Arghirios Cominos, aged 26, pleaded not guilty to stowing away in the liner Cartel Felice at Auckland on April 29 in the Magistrate's Court in Auckland yesterday. He said that he went to the ship seeking a job and stayed on board when it sailed. Cominos was arrested when the ship returned to Auckland yesterday after its journey round the world. Mr F. McCarthy. S.M.. sentenced Cominos to one month’s imprisonment
