Variable Prices In Active Trading
Prices were variable in trading on the Christchurch Stock Exchange yesterday. Turnover was well maintained. L- J- Hooker made the biggest loss of the day, falling Is 9d to 19s. A.N.Z. Bank also dropped sharply to sell at 435. Felt and Textiles (Australia), New Zeaan? ~, surance E.Z. Industries, Farrier-Waimak and Waltons were also easier. K.P. Drugs continued to improve, selling at £6. Other gains were made by Bank of N.S.W., New Zealand Refrigerating, Andrews and Beaven rights and British Tobacco.
