N.S.W. RUGBY TEAM
Manager Has Bronchitis (New Zealand Press Association) GREYMOUTH. July 21. Shortly after the touring New South Wales Country Rugby team arrived in Greymouth today, the manager (Mr W. McManls) was discovered to be suffering from an attack of bronchitis. He will have to remain in bed for four days. The assistant manager (Mr T. Macbride) will be in charge of the party in the meantime. The visitors will field a strong team against West Coast at Rugby Park, Greymouth, on Saturday. It will include four Wallabies, Ellwood and White, who toured New Zealand in 1949, and Fenwicke and Gunther, who toured Britain in 1957. The team is: R. Conolly (captain); S. Cooper, E. Johnson, F. Smidinore; B. Ellwood, J. Litchfield; K. McMullen; P. Fenwicke (vice-captain); B. Bailey. G. Kerr. H. Palmer. W. Gunther; A. Roberts, A. Laurrie. J. White.
