Child Killed Outside School
(New Zealand Press Association) DANNEVIRKE, July 20. A five-year-old schoogirl died in Dannevirke Hospital yesterday afternoon after she was knocked over by a heavy truck on the main Napier-Wellington highway. She was Margaret Claire Vella, of Matamau, Dannevirke. The child was hit outside the school as she was crossing the road to catch the school bus.
