N.Z. OLYMPIC TEAM
Departure On August 9 (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. July 20 Tlie New Zealand Olympic team will leave Auckland on the first leg of the trip to Rome on Tuesday. August 9. It will arrive in Rome three days later. At last night’s meeting of the New Zealand Olympic and British Empire Games Association, the chairman (Mr H. I. Austad). who will manage the team, said he thought it was one of the strongest to be sent away. “The athletic talent is sufficiently high to put up a very good showing.” he said.
