Floor Price Schemes
(From Ow Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, July 7. Operation of floor price schemes for meat and wool had so far involved little use of the reserves of those industries, states the Economic Survey tabled by the Minister of Finance (Mr Nordmeyer) in the House of Representatives today. “Reserves of the meat industry amounted to £35.000.000 at Die close of the 1950 season, and it was estimated thatthe total would exceed • 1 at the end of wool industry, reserves had risen at a steady annual rate from £26.000,000 in 1951 to an estimated total of £32,000,000 last
