MINER’S AXE FOR MR KHRUSHCHEV.—The Soviet Prime Minister laughs heartily as he holds a golden pick-axe he received as a gift from the Austrian Vice-Chancellor, Mr Bruno Pitterman (not shown), in Vienna. Mr Khrushchev, who is on a State visit to Austria, was given the axe as a souvenir to remind him that he was once a miner.
