HELD FOR STEEPLES
Ronay, a rising 13-year-old, will carry top weight in the Wellington Steeplechase on Saturday. He has been left at the top with 10-1 now that both Capet and Glenreagh have been scratched for the second leg of the year’s big steeplechasing treble. With Capet out of the field Arctic Sun will be the lone South Island representative. The last winner for the South Island was Survey, and the Face has been run 18 times since then.
