LEWIS CARROLL MEMORIAL—This monument atLlandudno, North Wales, bears the following inscription:— “On this every shore, during happy rambles with little Alice Liddell, Lewis Carroll was inspired to write that literary treasure, ‘Alice In Wonderland,’ which has charmed children for generations. Unveiled by the Rt. Hon. D. Lloyd George, O.M., M.P., September 6, 1933.”
