It can be described as an excellent and versatile farm for fat lambs, grain cropping, small seeds, or dairying. Lambing percentages are good : and lambs fatten well. Wheat crops are 80 to 100 bushels, the flat having yielded 100 bushels of Dreadnought variety. Excellent crops of ryegrass and clover have been harvested, pedigree seeds being sown. Not many years ago 150 cows were milked on Hazelburn, while carrying a large flock of sheep. The property is in good, average rainfall area and the potential returns cannot be overemphasised.
