Postal Services
Sir,—My congratulations go to the Public Service on the simplification of motor relicensing. Might I suggest that the quality of the glue on the aerogramme forms be improved? The thought that any junior clerk would be able to censor my correspondence is quite nauseating.—Yours, etc., M. S. STARKY. Amberley, June 26, 1960. [“The Post Office appreciates the tribute,” said the Chief Postmaster, Mr R. Elcock, to whom this letter was referred. “Evidence of faulty gumming has been Observed in certain batches' of aerogramme forms, which have been in short supply. An im-. proved form with well-gummed flaps is now on issue.”]
