STUDENT CHRISTIAN CONFERENCE
N.Z. Delegates For Strasbourg i Five New Zealanders will attend , a conference of the World Student Christian Federation in Strasbourg, France, next month. They are Misses N. Bell, M. McKay, and ■ G. Williams and Messrs J. Witbrock and J. Osmers. ; Miss Bell is schools’ secretary ■ to the New Zealand Student ■ Christian Movement which is affiliated with the federation. She , is a graduate of Canterbury Uni- . versity where she was president J of the Student Christian Move- , ment. Miss McKay is working in . the botany department of the . University of Otago. Miss Williams is a student at > the Christchurch Teachers' Col- ■ lege where she has been president - of the S.C.M. branch for the last i two years. Mr Witbrock, formerly of • Christchurch, is studying in Geri many for the Anglican priesthood. I He was an executive member of ’ the Canterbury University S.C.M. 1 last year. Mr Osmers was form- : erly of Canterbury University. 1 The theme of the conference is “Christ’s Ministry to the World and Our Calling Today.” i Mr Witbrock and Miss Bell will • also attend another federation conference in Thessaloniki, Greece.
