“SHILLINGS FOR CHILE” APPEAL
University Help For Santiago Students
A “shillings for Chile” appeal, oraganised by the New Zealand Students’ Association, will be made to students of the University of Canterbury on Wednesday and Thursday of next week. The appear is on behalf of the University of Alameda. Santiago, to whom the New Zealand students have already sent £25. The idea of raising Is from each student same’ from Canterbury, and if all the 3000 students contribute £l5O will be realised. Miss A. Ballin. a member of the Canterbury Students’ executive, who is organising the appeal, will be helped by various clubs. Collections among the engineering and art students at Ham will also be organised.
