The above cows are AugustSeptember calvers and all cows offered for sale have been TB. and Pregnancy Tested and are guaranteed sound and right -as at the end of the season. This herd was founded in 1917 and the present herd is descended from the "Ohapi’’ Stud, which was established some years later. Two years ago the herd was reduced from 90 milking cows to 50, and all of the present herd are progeny of the three following Sires:

It can be described as an excellent and versatile farm for fat lambs, grain cropping, small seeds, or dairying. Lambing percentages are good and lambs fatten well. Wheat crops are 80 to 100 bushels, the flat having yielded 100 bushels of Dreadnought variety.

Excellent crops of ryegrass and clover have been harvested, pedigree seeds being sown. Not many years ago 150 cows were milked on Hazelburn. while carrying a large flock of sheep.
