NEW VICAR AT PHILLIPSTOWN
Rev. J. Keith Instituted
The Rev. J Keith, who was instituted as vicar of the Church of the Good Shepherd. Phillipstown. on Thursday night, is one of three brothers serving in the Anglican ministry in New Zealand after coming from England. The Rev. G. L. Keith is in Featherston, and the Rev. P. M. Keith is in Wanganui. The new vicar at Phillipstown came to New Zealand two years ago to serve in Ashburton. His last position in England was that of rector of Sakenham. in Norfolk. For the last year Mr Keith has been assistant priest in the Merivale parish. The Bishop of Christchurch (the Rt- Rev. A. K Warren) officiated at the service. He was assisted by the Archdeacon of Sumner (the Ven. Archdeacon S. E. Woods). About 150 persons ittended the service.
