PLUNKET SOCIETY DEPUTATION
Meeting With Mr Nash On July 5 (New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, June 24. The Prime Minister (Mr Nash) had promised to meet a deputation from the Plunket Society on July 5. Dr. N. C. Begg, the society’s director of medical services, said today when asked to comment on a statement by the Minister of Health (Mr Mason) published this morning. “He has asked us not to reply in detail in the meantime," Dr?,' Begg said. In his statement Mr Mason said,' the difference of opinion between a the society and the Health Department was largely centred on the expenditure of public funds. This was denied by Dr. Begg, who said, the real issues were not financiaL
