About £7O worth of goods werg ’’ stolen from the hairdressing. . tobacconist, and beauty salon shop of Mr G. C. Woodham, 368 A Ric./ carton road. Upper Riccarton, on u - Wednesday night A hole was smashed through a wall and two doors were forced open to gain entry to the shop part of the building. The theft, was discovered by Mr Woodham when he arrived at the shop yesterday morning. Cupboards and/ drawers had been emptied and*, the contents of these and the shelves strewn about the floor H Some watches, four electric shavers, three barometers, a peu ' and pencil set. watchbands, some • other articles, and £2 in cash,; were taken. A door leading to the adjoining beauty saloon was forced open, but it is thought that a burning t window light prevented the thieves from entering this part of,, tne premises. - •’
