Dr. Moore Near West Virginia
(Rec. 11 p.m.) ■ CAMBRIDGE (Ohio), June 24. The 56-year-old British walker, Dr. Barbara Moore, stepped up her pace yesterday as she headed for the Ohio-West Virginia border on her trek to New York from San Francisco.
Dr. Moore, in spite of an injured ankle, walked nearly 50 miles yesterday but she has the mountainous terrain of northern West Virginia, Pennsylvania and western New York ahead of her.
