Thera was a record take of 99.488 sacks of oysters from Foveaux Strait last year, according to the annual report of the Marine Department. The oyster* were worth £l9B 976. In 1958 the take was 83.255 sacks. The report said the oysters were of good quality all the season, and an additional boat helped to create the record.
