NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE RATES PURSUANT to the provisions of the Rating Act, 1925, the Counties Act, 1956, and amendments thereto, Public Notice is hereby given that the Cheviot County Council, at a meeting to be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 1960. proposes to make and levy the following General Rate and Sanitation charge:

1— A general rate of 2.75 d (two point seven five pence) in the pound on the unimproved rateable values of all rateable property appearing on the valuation Rolls of the Cheviot County. 2 A uniform Sanitation charge of £9 12s per pan per year on the properties within, the 'Cheviot Township special Ratirig area receiving the

Sanitation service. ■■ 3—The above mentioned Rates and Sanitation charges to be for the period from April 1, 1660, until March 31, IW.. and to become due and payabl* in one sum to the County Office, Cheviot, on August 15, i 960. Such general rate only to be subject to a rebate of 5 per cent, if paid within thirty days of due date, that is. by September 14, 1960; an addii tional charge of 10 per cent, to be added to all the above rates remaining unpaid at the expiration of 6 months and fourteen days from the due date thereof, that is, to all such rates remaining unpaid after March 1, 1961.
