COMMERCIAL Good Gain By Beaths Shares On ’Change
A gain of 4s 3d by Beaths shares was a feature o f yesterday s trading on the Christchurch Stock S C \ ange YestPrdnt’r h hanged hands ,ast at 36s 3- Yesterday’s business at 40s 6d was the highest price paid for these shares this year or last year. N.Z. Farmers Co-operative ordinary shares rose to 22s 9d, in sympathy with the more recently-traded preference shares Beaths, Carapark and Matea Forests were also firmer. Ampol, Colonial Sugar, L. J. Hooker and Vibrapac (Otago) were all traded at lower prices.
