VETERINARY COLLEGE

Mr Connelly’s Question About Site

(From Our Paruomeiuarv Reporter) WELLINGTON, June 23.

A request to the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Skinner) to support the establishment of a veterinary college at Lincoln was made during question time in the House of Representatives this afternoon by Mr M. A. Connelly (Government, Riccarton)

Mr Connelly’s question to the Minister Was “whether in view of the economies which would arise as a result of the suggested integration at academic level of the University of Canterbury and Canterbury Agricultural College he would support the establishment of a veterinary college at Lincoln and so provide for yet further economies in our educational facilities and yet greater co-ordination between educational institutions.’’
