Costello). The board’s guaranteed revenue Is small. Results of an approach during the year to local bodies amf organisations were dissppointing, although £179 10s 6d was received, including some from private sources, says the report. Dealing with work proposed for the next year, to March 31, the report says it is hoped that initial preparatory work at least will be undertaken on the proposed subdivision at Te Anau Downs Landscaping of the Te Anau headquarters site will be completed and essential maintenance work will continue on the Hollyford and other popular track’ ft is hoped the lower HollyfcM road formation will be extended to High Falls by the Ministry of Works.

It is hoped to begin work on the alpine garden at the western portal of the Homer tunnel.
