RED CROSS APPEAL
£3OO Increase On Last Year
The Red Cross street appeal and’ market held last week raised £4238, said the president of the Church branch of the Red Cross (Mrs R. I. Brake) last evening. This is an increase of just more than £3OO on last year’s collection of £3900. It is £2OO more than the target. The street appeal raised rtlore than £2OOO, and the market raised more than £llOO. The rest of the amount came from donations.
