Visit By Harlem Globetrotters
The Harlem Globetrotter* would appear at Wilding Park on February 21, 22 and 23 of next year, Mr G. E. R Afkinson told the quarterly meeting of delegates to the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association last evening. Mr Atkinson said that the association was pleased to have this financial assistance, as the visitor* were expected to draw large crowd*. “We will get 10 per cent, of the gross gate, but we will provide extra accommodation in the way of new stands. It should mean a substantial financial gain for the association," Mr Atkinson said.
