PUBLIC NOTICES NOTICE OF LOCAL BILL NOTICE Is hereby given that it is the intention of the Christchurch Transport Board to introduce in the next session of Parliament a local Bill amending the Christchurch Tramway District Act. 1920. The object the BUI is intended to effect, is to extend the Board’s District by including therein the area of land comprised within the limits described in the Schedule hereto. Copies of the Bill have been deposited in the Magistrate’s Court at Christchurch and at the public office of the Christchurch Transport Board, Cathedral Square, Christchurch, and may now, and for a period of three complete weeks from the - date hereof, be inspected at either of such places, where they are and will be open to public inspection during office hours without fee. SCHEDULE All that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded as follows: Commencing at a point in Avonhead road two and one half chains north-west of Wooldridge road; thence continuing along a line parallel to Wooldridge road but two and one half chains north-west of it to Wairakei road; thence along Wairakei road to Wooldridge road, thence across Wairakei road and continuing northerly along Wooldridge road to a point two and one half chains from Wairakei road, across Wooldridge road and generally in an easterly direction running parallel to Wairakei road to the south-western boundary of Rural Section 1726; thence generally in a north and north-easterly direction along the boundary of Rural Section 1726 and north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 2 Deposit Plan No. 1655 to Harewood road; thence along the centre of Harewood road in a general northerly direction to a point two and one half chains from the north-western boundary of Crofton road; thence in a north-easterly direction along a line parallel to Crofton road but two and one half chains from its north-western boundary across Sawyers Arms road to a point two and one half chains beyond its north-eastern boundary; thence running south-easterly parallel to Sawyers Arms road but two and one half chains from it to its intersecting point with the south-east boundary of Lot 1 Deposit Plan No. 5895; thence following generally in a northeasterly direction along the southeastern boundary of Lot 1 Deposit Plan No. 5895 to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Lot 3 Deposit Plan No. 7018, Lot 9 Deposit Plan No. 2065, Part Lot 1 Deposit Plan No. 7018 and Part Lot 1 Deposit Plan No. 18821 to and across Clarldges road and continuing to a point two and one half chains beyond its northeast boundary; thence parallel to and two and one half chains from Claridges road towards Grampian street and running parallel to this street and Cavendish road in a north, east and north direction but two and one half chains from them to a point in Cavendish road opposite the north boundary of Craddocks road, and thence in an easterly direction to Cavendish road; thence northerly along Cavendish road to Stvx Mill road and easterly along Styx Mill road to Main North road; thence bearing north-easterly along Main North road and thence generally in an easterly direction along a line parallel to Farquhars road but two and one half chains north of it and continuing in this line to a point two and one half chains east of Grimseys road; thence southerly in a line parallel to Grimseys road but two and one half chains east of it. to its intersection with Winters road; thence generally in a westerly direction along the boundary of the Christchurch Tramway District as described in the Schedule to the principal Act and as amended by sub-section three of section nine of the Christchurch Tramway District Amendment Act. 1932-33, to Avonhead road two and one half chains north-west of Wooldridge road, the place of commencement.
