Hill Climb At Hororata
The Canterbury Car Club held a hill climb over a mile-long shingle road at Hop-orata during the weekend. In the racing car section. R. Rutherford (R.A. Zephyr) secured fastest time of 73.995ec. N. F. Stuart (Stuart Special), with 78sec, had second fastest time, and B. Campton (Cooper Vincent), with 89.705ec, was third. Other events resulted— Sports Cars—G. I. McKay (M.G. T.F.), 82A9sec. 1; P, W. Watson (M.G.), 90.775ec, 2. Saloon Cars.—H. J. Heasley (Humber 80), 79.965ec, 1; W. H. Scott (2.4 litre Jaguar), 83.475ec, 2; T. D. Craig (M.G. A), 84,Usec, 3
