Motion of Sympathy.—Reference to the death of Miss Christina Nisbet was made at last evening’s meeting of the North Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Women Teachers’ Association by the president (Miss R D. Hay). Miss Nisbet had been a committee member for several years and her loss would be felt deeply, said Miss Hay. Members stood in silence as a mark of respect to the memory of Miss Nisbet.
